Hi. I decided that I want to start my own blog where I can talk about learning to cook and bake new recipes and about other things that I love. The first thing that I must discuss is this amazing pizza. Dave and I went to NYC in May and I finally got to enjoy my first “real” slice of NYC style pizza. Since I moved to Chicago almost 2 years ago, I have tried to love deep dish and while it is good, I just don’t consider it to be pizza. It is really more like pizza casserole. The best Chicago substitute is Piece. (www.piecechicago.com)  I have made two attempts at making my own pizza and was more successful on the second try.  Try out this pizza dough at 101 Cookbooks.
